When I first started in real estate I had a real estate planner and I used it sporadically. Part of the issue was that it was too large for me to carry in my purse so I didn't have it with me all the time.
I eventually moved to online CRM platforms. I tried quite a few before finally settling on realtyjuggler this year. Realtyjuggler has been a good balance of cost ($99/year) and functionality and I have been using it quite consistently.
I love the ability to have all my contacts in one place as well as being able to track income & expenses and tasks for my contracts. The one probelm is that I don't always remember to record everything when i'm out on the road.
This means I can actually utilize a hybrid system of both paper and electronic records - taking notes when i'm on the road and transferring them to my CRM when it's more convenient.
I'm excited to make 2013 the year I finally get fully organized!
