I was almost afraid that I would get struck by lightening as I was headed into the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta this weekend.
I am a staunch Pepsi drinker but that doesn't stop me from being fascinated by the history of Coca-Cola and it's role in the US pop culture.

The visit to the World of Coca Cola features Coke memorabilia, watching the bottling process, and examples of Coca-Cola in pop culture and art.

For me, my favorite part of the visit was getting to taste the over 60 Coca-Cola products from across the world. I was able to taste a drink, Bitter Lemon, from my childhood. I'm now on the hunt to see where I can buy Bitter Lemon in the US.

FINALLY! A DOCTOR WHO MAKES HOUSE-CALLS!
Information deemed reliable but not guaranteed!

I watched Dr. Oz clean a car battery with a pepsi...think about your insides...LOL
I'm a cola drinker every once in awhile.
Welcome to Atlanta. The weather is much cooler this week. I still haven't been to the World of Coke since they moved to their new location.
I've always wanted to go but the two times I've been in Atlanta were for work conferences and we were jam packaged with meetings, etc.
I've never heard of Bitter Lemon. Sounds interesting--the drink and the museum.
Linda - I shudder to think what my insides will look like
Rodney - I enjoyed my trip to Atlanta
Weber Team - next time, try to squeeze in a visit
Joni - It's kinda like Sprite but I bit more tart.
Interesting stuff. I gotta tell ya though, I am a staunch Diet Coke drinker. People say they can clean toilets, and do all kinds of other thing with soda. Ain't gonna keep me from drinking it. Looks like a cool place to visit.
Jean - I feel the same way about my Pepsi
This is a very fun place. I enjoyed my visit there as well. I'm glad you weren't struck by lightning or anything ... being a pepsi drinker and all!
I visited the World of Coke in the early 90's. Loved it. You can't go to Atlanta and not go there. Diet Coke for me ... Pepsi only if necessary :)
Karen - I'm glad I wasn't struck too.
Cynthia - It did seem like a must visit spot.
Not a cola drinker of any kind, but I just had to comment on your tag line, how CLEVER, the Dr. who makes house calls! You should be in advertising...oh...wait...that wouldn't work! =o)
Cheryl - The tag line is courtesy of my friend and former manager, John MacArthur.
