Why is a good mortgage professional so important?

Why is a good mortgage professional so important?

I get this question a lot from potential buyers.  Of course the obvious answer is that a mortgage professional will be able to help you determine how much home you can afford.

But a good mortgage professional is more than just running the credit and determining the maximum amount a person can spend on a house.

A good mortgage professional will actually talk to the clients and get to know them.  That way they can discuss not just how much home they qualify for but how much home they are comfortable with.

Sometimes they may even advise people to wait to buy the home until they bring up their credit scores to a point where they can get a better interest rate.

A good mortgage professional will do as much counseling as necessary to ensure that potential buyers understand their financial commitments and how much money they will need to make their real estate ownership dreams a reality.

A good mortgage professional is someone who will partner with the real estate agent to ensure that the client feels as though their needs are being well represented and taken care of.

A good mortgage professional is a priceless ingredient in the successful real estate transaction.

I have been fortunate to have met an awesome mortgage broker, through ActiveRain.  I have worked with many mortgage professionals but when a buyer is working with Bridget McGee (Allied Home Mortgage) I feel confident that they understand all the financial pieces of the transaction.

I know that she has verified and explained and the buyer is not caught off guard by charges or how much they are going to need to spend.

If it was solely my choice EVERY client would use Bridget, Maryland's Mortgage Mama.

Stacey, you're so right!  The lender can make or break a transaction.

Dr. SA. What an awesome endorsement of Bridget. It's always important to have a good relationship with a qualified lender.

Wow! I was about to go to bed and thought I'd check in to Active Rain.  What a lovely way to end the day! Thank you so much for the kind words!

I love what I do and strive to ensure that the buyers are well-qualified and educated throughout the process. It is very important to me and to all the realtors that I choose to partner with to truly keep the clients best interest at heart.  I am proud to be associated with you in business and in life!

I am a little concerned that re-blogging will be tooting my own horn, but TOOT TOOT!
