Successful Closing Means $150 Donation to Charity

Beginning in January 2010 I implemented Pay It Forward - $150 donation to charity with every closing.

Following the successful closing of 872 Nalley Road, Hyattsville MD I am happy to report that the following donations have been made:

  • $50 to the UMBC - UMBC is part of the University of Maryland system.  When I first moved to America it was to attend this wonderful university and I have always been grateful for my wonderful experience there.
  • $40 to Angie Houtz Memorial Fund -  This fund provides scholarships to students attending Maryland public universities who have shown a committment to academics and community service
  • $60 to Worldvision - This one was really fun because I allowed my children to look through the catalog and choose what donation they wanted to make.  My daughter chose to make a donation to help sexually exploited girls and my son chose to make a donation of 2 chickens to provide eggs and food for a family.

This charitable donation is rapidly becoming one of my favorite pats of the real estate transaction.  I am excited to be able to make these donations and I look forward to making many more donations in the coming months (and years).

Our office at Re/Max Nova also does this.  A portion of all of our ends goes to support the Children's Miracle Network & CBCF.  Great work.  Keep it up.

Stacey Ann,

This is just one of those things that you do that makes you special to me. If you're free for lunch today, a group from AR is having lunch at Brio's at 1 PM.

I love that you continue to do this  You made a commitment to make the donations, the charities that are benefitting are blessed as are the clients that generated the income.  May you continue to be doubly blessed!!   Here's to many transactions and many continued donations in 2012!
