Angie Houtz Memorial Golf Tournament 2012

The 6th Annual Angie Houtz Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on October 19, 2012 at 1:00pm at Potomac Ridge Golf Club, Waldorf MD.  Cost is $125 per golfer, $480/foursome and includes round of golf, food, drinks, & prizes.

The Angie Houtz Memorial Fund was established to honor my best friend Angie who was killed in the 9/11 terrorist attack on the Pentagon.  Since it’s formation in 2001, the Angie Houtz Memorial Fund has awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to students attending MD public colleges who value community service in addition to academic excellence.

There are so many ways you can help the 2012 Angie Houtz Memorial Golf Tournament be a success and support the Angie Houtz Memorial Fund:

  • Play in the event
  • Sponsor the event
  • Make a monetary donation
  • Make a donation of a prize or silent auction item
  • Donate marketing materials or small gifts to be included in the player gift bags
  • Volunteer on the day of the event
  • Forward to anyone you think would like to help

All donations and sponsors will be acknowledged on the fund’s websitefacebook page, twitter as well as included in the program on the day of the event.

This event raises a lot of money...and I think scholarships are a great benefit and something that keeps on giving to an individual and eventually the community.

Stacey, I hope the Angie Hout Memorial Golf Tournament 2012 raises lots of money for those scholarships.  Glad to see events like this continue...helping others and keeping 9/11 fresh in our minds.
