My Review

Guilty: A BRAND NEW completely chilling, addictive psychological thriller from Ruby Speechley for 2024 by Ruby Speechley

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Very interesting premise that hooked me in quickly.

Storyline has many twists and keeps you guessing. I had an idea of the culprit but I was not fully correct. Even though I had figured out parts of it that didn’t stop me from wanting to know how it ended.

The main character is terminally ill. Initially I found her sympathetic and then I just found her melodramatic and quite annoying at times. En masse, the characters are extremely unlikeable.

The novel is a glimpse into the ways people’s lives change when they are carrying a important secret.

Overall, this is a quick read and will appeal to people who enjoy psychological thrillers.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
