I first met my friend John MacArthur years ago when I was a real estate agent. He began working in the same office as me and eventually became the office manager. We hit it off instantly and he took me under his wing.
One of the things that he taught me was about blogging. Because of JMac I wrote my first blog back in 2008 or so. Clearly that was a good thing because here I am in 2023 still blogging!
When I first met JMac he wasn’t painting regularly. He had stopped some years before. I was so happy to see him pick up his paint brush again and begin to recapture his incredible joy.
When I saw “Venice #1” I knew I needed to have it. This began my JMac Art collection.
Very soon after that I fell in love with “Amsterdam” and brought it home to hang in my dining room.
My family knows how much I love JMac’s Art so they have given me pieces over the years.
One year I opened an unexpected package and received a beautiful Christmas gift from my beloved friend JMac! This proudly hangs in my home along with all the other JMac originals I now own.
John is one of my favorite people! He has always been firmly on my side fighting for me even when life sometimes felt it was out to get me. A consistent friend and forever cheerleader. I am so honored to have so many pieces of his art throughout my home.
