My Review
Living Life with Death by Sarah Jones
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
3.5 stars
Living Life with Death is a collections of essays and poems that detail experiences encountered over the author’s career in the death industry.
The essays were interesting and very short making this a very quick read. The poems were less compelling to me but, poetry is a genre that I often struggle to appreciate.
The stories were often humorous and other times heart breaking and did detail the way death changes those left behind.
This was an interesting glimpse into a side of life that so many of us fear and know very little about. If this is a subject that interests you then this non-fiction short novel would be a great way to be introduced to it.
