Mom and Son take California – Riverside

After leaving San Diego we headed towards the town of Riverside. This was not an area I was familiar with, so I honestly had no idea what to expect.

Once again, I found the drive to be beautiful in parts. The snowcapped mountains that were in the distance got closer and closer as we got into the town.

Because of some bad scheduling we ended up with very little time to spend in Riverside before we needed to catch our flight. So, all we really saw was the campus of the University of California, Riverside.

There were things that we both liked and didn’t like about this particular campus, but it was clear that California had won over my son. All East coast schools were no longer under consideration 🙂
