After a lovely drive San Diego was beautiful as we pulled in. This was my first trip here and I honestly had no idea what to expect. It was gorgeous! Water really is my happy place.
I had these big site seeing plans – I had done quite a bit of research about what it had to offer and figured I’d check some out of the city while my son was visiting the University of San Diego.
As it turned out, I spent the day at the University as well. As we were driving I could see the campus on the hill. I didn’t realize it was the campus but I remarked to my son about the beautiful building on the hill. I was thrilled when we pulled in and this beautiful building was what we were there to see. This campus is stunning!
I wandered around on my own, did the official tour, checked out the amazing views. I was in love! This was only stop 1 on the tour but I knew that all East coast schools would be eliminated for Sebastian. I was right 🙂 He wasn’t committing to this school without seeing the other three, but he was committing to California.
When the day at the school was done my son (who it turns out is not much of a tourist) wanted to go back to the hotel 🙁 So after all my big plans I saw very little of this beautiful place. I decided that regardless of which school he chose I will revisit San Diego when we return to California to move him into college in August.
Next stop – Riverside!
