Stronger Together – Week 2 Update

Stronger Together – Week 2 Update

A big thank you to everyone who contributed to another successful Sunday Serve. The response from donor, volunteers, and all supporters has been truly amazing,

This past Sunday we served 250 hot meals and gave away 100 care packages filled with food, hygiene products, and other daily essentials. We also distributed lots of clothes and an additional100 tarps.

Volunteers Kamilas Kitchen

We met families at the distribution centers. However, since there are people who are unable to travel the team did go directly into some of the neighborhoods to ensure that those people are able to be reached as well. Next week we are focusing on the communities that are more remote and harder for care to access.

The need is so vast and the community members were so grateful. Our team was honored to be able to help even in this small way.

Corporate Partners

A task of this magnitde has many many moving parts and we wanted to ensure we extended a very special thanks to some of the partners who helped us make week 1 a success.

A special thank you to the Shaggy Make a Difference Foundation which donated rice and other food used to prepare the meals this week.

Draxhall Ltd donated 50 of the care packages distributed this week.
