My daughter, Sydney, reached out to me recently to let me know that a marketing representative for a toy company, Art Creativity, had reached out to her wanting to make a donation to the toy charity that I coordinate each year with the local Salvation Army. I was, of course, interested so the representative reached out to me. He and I talked and he said the company would be sending me some toys. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to open my door on Sunday to see a wall of boxes on my front step.
I love gifts and toys so I was like a kid in the candy store as I opened up all the boxes to see what they had sent. I honestly had no idea what to expect and I was blown away after I opened package after package of the cutest toys.
I can’t wait to add these to the already amazing donations that I have received for the 275 local angels who will receive Christmas gifts through this annual project.

What a wonderful project. And such a beautiful gift. Perhaps no-one will ever know what it means to a child to receive a gift from a stranger other than a child for whom those were their only presents. You never forget.
